In-Field Services

Crossmen In-field inspector examines new and existing rental structures, mainly single-family homes, to detect any visual structural defects interior & exterior or weaknesses in plumbing, electrical or other systems.

  • Property Managers & Real Estate Agents

For Property Management companies, real estate agents, and other interested parties, In-Field inspectors inspect townhouses, homes, condos and other dwellings to ensure that the home doesn’t have unlisted defects or undisclosed problems that the management or investor aren’t aware of, and is in compliance with how the home was rented and received back to the managing parties.

  • Homeowners & Investors

Homeowners/Investors and property management companies also hire an inspector to inspect homes prior to putting them on the market to rent to make sure all the contractors work was completed per the scope of work.

The duties of an In-Field inspector vary based on the type of home and the stage of renting it is in. With a previously occupied home (Possessions & Evictions), we inspect the exterior and interior, including attached buildings, plumbing, HVAC systems, electrical system, attic and roof (with pictures and visual inspections). We suggest possible improvements or problems within the dwelling and discuss potential issues found while doing the inspection & will suggest an expert when needed.

In a new home, our inspectors will inspect plumbing and electrical systems by physically turning them on and confirming that they are working. Return visits to re-inspect homes are necessary in some cases. Our job is to make sure you are aware of what is going on in the home so that you can make an informed decision!
